  20. You are right, it allows compilation on lots of other obscure
  21. machines (those that need the X wchar_t to be "foiled").

  23. The systems where NO_FOIL_X_WCHAR_T prevents xdvi and MF from being
  24. compiled aren't necessarily any more "obscure".  Having sufficiently
  25. up-to-date X libraries combined with some support for
  26. internationalization makes this "foiling" unnecessary.  You find
  27. defining NO_FOIL_X_WCHAR_T weird, I find the default behaviour weird.
  28. Unfortunately it seems necessary on some machines.
